About Us

A note from Leigh Pauling: The French Knot has been my second home for over 20 years, and I am beyond thrilled to begin this new chapter.  As a seven-year-old child, needlepoint became a passion that I learned from my grandmother and continues to be a joy as I teach my children as well as others. As I depart a 20 year teaching career to follow my love of learning and teaching needlepoint, I hope you will join me as I begin this new path! Stay tuned for store updates, new classes offered, open stitch and learning times, familiar faces and new needlepoint ideas.

We are members of TNNA, The National Needlework Association, and we attend the major markets each year to select the finest canvases and threads available. Although we have a large selection of canvases in stock, we are happy to special order any canvas you would like, and we will ship your order to you if you are not a local customer.

We also carry a large assortment of accessories and books. We offer finishing services, and for non-stitchers, stitching services. We offer classes from Beginning Basketweave to classes for advanced stitchers.
